Easter by the Numbers

What are great day it was today as we proclaimed the good news of God moving us from a life focused on a dead faith to the abundant life of an empty tomb and focus into the light. Christ is risen, Christ is risen, Indeed. Glory to God. Amen.

6:00 a.m. - It started bright and early. Well, it was actually dark and early. The youth led an incredible sunrise service.
144 - The number of people in attendance at the Sunrise Service.

8:00 a.m. - Our early worship service. It was exciting to see a crowd this early as well. The music was excellent as usual. No, more so than usual I would say.
169 - The number of worshippers at 8 am.

9:30 a.m. - The excitement continued to build as we celebrated the risen Christ. Colene's children sermon drew a huge crowd of kids. The message was wonderful and she wove scripture into it so well.
344 - The number of worshippers at 9:30 am.

11:00 a.m. - Our final and largest service was grand. We had to set up extra chairs. The video from all three of the services was an excellent was to tie in the message and a time for prayer where people could consider refocusing their faith to look out from the tomb and into life.
380 - The count of the worshippers who heard a living Christ proclaimed today at 11:00 a.m.

1037 - The total number of Easter people raising their voices at Good Shepherd today. God was praised, Christ was lifted high, the tomb is empty, and the Spirit is moving. Praise to the Lord, Almighty.

Are the numbers important. They are to God. The tomb is empty for each of the 1037.
