What exactly do you do at GSUMC?
I manage and coordinate 10 staff and 120 students in our Preschool program here at Good Shepherd.
What is one of your favorite aspect of what you do here?
Seeing children grow and learn - It's great to be able to help shape the lives of young children. We offer a great educational preschool program with a Christian base -- it's fun too!!
From whom do you take Spiritual inspiration?
My parents -- who have always been mentors and my close neighbors growing up - Tammy and Randy Carpenter

What books would your recommend to the people at GSUMC?
I have a lot of Children's Books I could recommend :) - "Jesus and the 12 Dudes" "What is Heaven?" "I Love You, Forever"
If I was interested in doing what you do at GSUMC what advice would you give?
Be personable with people, remember their names and faces and talk to them on a personal level.
What didn't I ask that you just can't help sharing?
I have seen many faces come and go at Good Shepherd through the years - many because of Preschool, but others through worship and music team, VBS, and Small Groups - The community of people that I've met and been in ministry with have helped me feel like we live in a small town where I grew up - My church is my 'community' !
