The 4 Gospels were written as personal witnesses of Christ. I don't know why we have to limit that witness to only those four. So, here I will record my own witness of Christ in my life... The Gospel according to Dave.

Radio-Orthodoxy
This is a link to one of the blogs I read on a regular basis. I have encountered the very issue that is listed here. Let me say that I don't have a particular problem with Chuck Colson, but we differ on some theological issues. I also differ with Max Lucado and many other authors and radio personalities... and I like reading what Max writes. The issues are mostly nitpicking differences in theology that aren't really issues that affect the salvation of the individual, but they do affect the way a person lives out their faith. I also think it's important to note that many (not all, but many) radio personalities use hyperbole, and extreme language to get an audience and to evoke a response. I do believe that they believe what they say, they just say it in a way that incense or stirs the passions of the listener. I would also contend that if you say anything with enough conviction you can get others to believe it. Finally, I would say that we should always caution ourselves to remember that just because it is on radio/tv/print media/internet it is not necessarily true.
