Sunday we had two preachers visit our church on their day off. I like to do that as well. Several weeks ago I visited North Heartland Community Church. I met the pastor, Rick McGinnis, and we hit it off. We had lunch together and just generally enjoyed chatting. I just knew that if I gave them a chance I could get along with Baptists. Rick was here at the 11:00 service.
We also had Troy McMahon visit. Troy is starting a new church in our area. I'm praying for ReachOut KC and hope that you will too. Just for fun read what Troy had to say about Good Shepherd. Troy and his son, Mitchell were at the 9:30 service. Troy said the church was very welcoming. Were you one who welcomed the stranger into your midst?
