Living Out Loud: Can You Hear Me Now

While attendance was low our first time visitor numbers were way up. Go figure.

I spoke about what connecting to God through how we serve others. While we would all love to have a prayer life where God speaks loud and clear, some of us really struggle with prayer. God provides additional ways to make that connection. Serving others, whether through the organized efforts of the church or the occasional tire change on the highway, are opportunities to make a difference in the life of others while finding ourselves experiencing God. How cool is that?

Here are my points:
1) Avoid arguments Over the Point
My point is that we are all called by God to serve others.
Arguments over details get us bogged down in our desire to possess and control rather than serve.
2) Get to the Point
Your Four Ministries
i. Personal
ii. Family
iii. Work/School (Public)
iv. Church
3) Point to the One Whom You Serve
Don’t blow an opportunity to be a witness. Watch for those “Witness Windows.”
