Groundhog 5K

What a great day to race. Well, any day to race is great when you run 3.1 miles inside. The Children's TLC 5k is held in the Hunt Midwest underground caves. These caves are actually a sprawling limestone mine that has been converted to a business park. It was cool to run through. I'll post pics of the crew here soon, but I thought I'd give you the run down of our runners:

22:39 Dalton Anderson (9th in the 11-14 year old age group) Way to go Dalton!!!

25:31 Denny Butler

26:17 Gayla Grayum (6th in her age group)

26:29 Ted Horton

27:17 Jeremy Sylvester

27:30 Doug Adams

27:48 James Pasquith (James didn't sign up with us, but he attends Good Shepherd and I saw him pass by, so we claim him)

32:06 Henry Grayum

36:04 Me (89 in my age group, out of 99. 1475 overall out of 1943) Well, at least I've given myself room to improve over the coming year.

37:22 Kathryn Farris

47:10 Dana Hughes

Congratulations to all who ran. I hope you might all consider coming out and walking/running for the next good cause. I'll keep you posted on the next run date.
