I'm trying out something new, at least new to me. I've joined twitter and I'm going to spend, at least, the next week "tweeting." Twitter is part of a movement called "micro-blogging." Over the next week I'm going to share what I'm doing throughout the day. Call it "a day in the life of Pastor Dave."
I want your thoughts and opinions on it. Join Twitter. It's free. Search either @davisrael or David Israel. (Make sure you get the right David Israel. There's more than one of us.) And select follow. You can follow me through my RSS feed, logging on occassionally, or having updates texted to your phone.
Let me know what you think of it. Is it helpful to you at all?

I like the Twitter idea. I've added myself as a follower. It's another way to get ideas from people and instant feedback if you need/want it. Tying it tweets with sermons would be interesting as well. Say you talk about God moments in a sermon on Sunday, then tweet about them often the week following the sermon and then keep the concept alive with tweets about them ongoing. We can all use a little reminder now and again. Once you get enough followers and those you are following, the ideas will flow.
