Economic Task Force

The meeting on Wednesday night was a great start. We had 48 people there. By my count, 15 were unemployed or facing that specter. We had lively and profitable conversation. Here is the current process we're working through:
1) Trish took most of my information and is filtering through it.
2) We'll be posting on our site the useful information. Check back occasionally to find what's new. You can go to this link for the information. Information should be posted there soon. You can also get there by going to our site www.gswired.org, mousing over "ministries" then "adult" then "special events."
3) It looks like there is an interest in two types of on-going gatherings.
a) Informational meetings with presenters on interviewing, resumes, job hunting, economic issues, etc.
b) Networking meetings with people in the same circumstances to help each other with leads and ideas. I think we can coordinate this with other churches as well.
